TRUST CENTRE
How we research.
A clear evidence hierarchy keeps useful comparison separate from marketing copy and synthetic experience.
Our evidence ladder
- Official rules and specificationsAirlines, manufacturers and programme terms anchor mutable facts.
- Cross-checked merchant evidenceListings help confirm availability, price and current variants, but do not override the manufacturer.
- Repeatable first-hand testingOnly content with an explained method, original observations and evidence is labelled a review.
How a shortlist is built
Every commercial guide starts with one decision boundary—such as a firm price ceiling, cabin-fit requirement or trip type. Products must have a live India listing on the research date. We record only visible evidence, separate cabin and check-in use cases, identify missing specifications and explain the trade-off behind every selection.
How products are ranked
Fit for the stated use case comes first, followed by evidence quality, empty weight, construction, warranty, failure-mode signals and value. Discount percentage, sales rank and commission rate are excluded from the editorial score.
What we do not claim
A research-based comparison is not a durability test. We do not infer long-term wheel, zip, handle or shell performance from merchant descriptions or star ratings. A page will be labelled a review only after repeatable first-hand testing with original observations and evidence.
Corrections and updates
Airline rules are scheduled for monthly review and carry a visible checked date. Product pages show when price or specification evidence was last verified and when the editorial analysis changed. Material corrections update the page rather than silently preserving an outdated claim.
